Thomas Edison, after failing to produce a working light bulb for the 900th time, famously said “Well, now I know 900 ways not to make a light bulb.”

I feel the same way about programming. And that is about all I have in common with Thomas Edison! Slowly but surely, we develop an understanding of how to write solid, flexible code. Particularly in an open environment like PHP and other related web technologies, there are invariably some bumps along the way that seem to take an unreasonable amount of time to figure out. This site has the modest aim of trying to help out anyone else who, like me, spends too much time googling about something that is driving him or her crazy. And if I can save someone a little bit of time and trouble, then that’s great.
